About Us

The Slavic Languages Student Union represents all students in the University of Toronto Department of Slavic Languages and Literature.

We co-ordinate academic and social events for students at the department, meet with faculty and staff, and represent Slavic Studies students at ASSU course union council meetings.

All Art&Sci students who are currently enrolled in a Slavic Languages Minor, Major, and Specialists or at least 0.5 FCE SLA/FIN/EST code courses for the Fall/Winter semester are considered members of the Union.

The Executive is currently composed of a President, VP, Treasurer, Secretary, and First Year Representative

Elections are held every spring, with by-elections for unfilled positions and FYR in the fall.
